Local Governmental Employee’s Retirement System (NCLGERS) – All full-time  Agency employees are automatically contributing members of the North Carolina Local Governmental Employee’s Retirement System (NCLGERS) and begin to earn service credit the first day of employment. Employee contributions of 6% are deducted from paychecks. Agency contributions of 10.17% are also deposited on behalf of the employee each month into their retirement account.
