Mark Tarbox

Medic recently celebrated another awesome cardiac save on Friday, September 14th, 2012 with a a patient reunion at Reedy Creek Park in Charlotte.

Mark Tarbox, a retired Navy seal, collapsed while walking with his wife in the park on July 19th. During that same day, the Professional Disc Golf Association’s World Championship was also taking place in the park. A group of golfers, which included a paramedic and a physician, rushed to help Mr. Tarbox and initiated CPR until first responders and the Medic crew arrived.

Mr. Tarbox was reunited Medic Paramedic Crew Chief, Rob Graf. Mr. Tarbox says he couldn’t have asked for better care that day and knows that it took a team of very brave men and women to pull off the save.
