At the Pines, man thanks the team that saved his life.

December 11th, 2014.

Mr. Frye went into cardiac arrest while working at The Pines at Davidson, a retirement community, on November 19th. The nursing staff called 911, started CPR and got an AED. The Davidson Fire Department and Medic arrived shortly to the scene. Mr. Frye is a survivor today due to effective bystander CPR, early Advanced Life Support Intervention, and excellent patient care

Please join Medic and Mr. Mr. Frye in congratulating, Davidson Fire, Paramedics Ty Brown and Corey Montgomery on an outstanding job!

We would also like to extend a special thank you to the Davidson Fire Department, Cornelius Fire Department and the hospital staff of Novant Presbyterian Main for their assistance and successful teamwork in helping to treat Mr. Frye. Mr. Frye's positive outcome is just another example of Medic's effective community partnerships at work and the chain of survival working.
