Ambulance Fleet

Maintaining a fleet of seventy-two (72) ambulances and thirty-three (33) supervisory and support vehicles is a difficult task. Medic utilizes Dodge and Internationals along with Dodge Sprinters.

Medic’s onsite Fleet Department brings more than 100 years of valuable automotive industry experience to the Agency. The Fleet Department’s focus is the same as every other department within Medic: to deliver excellent patient care  to the right place at the right time. Five master mechanics and additional support technicians accomplish this goal by keeping the Agency’s sizable fleet safely on the road, ensuring that the vehicle reliability is never a factor in Medic’s ability to deliver excellent patient care. Scheduled and unscheduled maintenance needs are handled in-house, resulting in less down time for crews and vehicles. Medic also maintains an ongoing remount program.
