Fleet Services

Maintaining a fleet of more than 65 ambulances and close to 20 supervisory and support vehicles is a difficult task. At Medic that responsibility falls to the Fleet Services Division of Operations. Five master mechanics and additional support technicians handle all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance needs on a fleet that logs more than 2.2 million miles each year. Because such tasks are handled in-house, it results in less down time for crews and vehicles.

Medic also maintains an ongoing remount program designed to ensure the fleet is no more than five years old.
