Donate an AED

Are you interested in donating an AED to an organization of your choice or to a deserving organization in Mecklenburg County? 

Throughout the campaign, Lucky Hearts has donated the Philips Heartstart FRx model to the chosen organizations.  The campaign is using the Philips brand AED strictly because it is compatible with Medic’s heart monitors and city/county First Responder AEDs. If would like to purchase or donate an AED, please contact Kristin Young (704.943.6165) or visit the Mecklenburg Medical Alliance and Endowment’s donation page. 

Remember, an AED should only be used in a cardiac related emergency.  To learn the difference between a cardiac arrest and a heart attack, please visit Medic’s community education pages dedicated to the heart.
